Cherry blossoms at Ikuta Shrine are an indicator of a new season. I missed the big "Hanami" time this year due to the situation in the world but I could enjoy some cherry blossoms at the shrine.
I have been teaching English as a second language for over 20 years in Japan and Canada. What keeps me in Japan is the love of its culture, which constantly surprises me.
